Synergy describes what so often happens when we reach out to help others. Buttercup was hosting the leadership of our Senegalese partners. In finding meaningful contacts for them in the United States we found "Pie Ranch". They are dedicated to enlightening inner city children combined with a bakery they started in the Mission district of San Francisco.

The fit was like a glove and after giving each other wonderful ideas to implement, plans were underway for student exchange experiences between the two. More about Pie Ranch can be found at www.pieranch.org.
