From time to time Buttercup Farms is privileged by being asked to help with
the start of a new endeavor for enhancing life on a worldwide scale. In
the case of L.E.A.P. two young women were given support as a branch of Buttercup
Farms while they develop the group's structure and fulfilled the requirements
of an independent 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.

L.E.A.P. – Land Empowerment Animals People facilitates
significant projects in the area of rainforest ecosystem conservation in
the Sabah region of Malaysian Borneo. This important region is not only
a botanical paradise, but is home to many animals, such as the Borneo Pygmy
elephant and the Bornean orangutan, which are not found anywhere else in
the world. L.E.A.P works closely with indigenous peoples and expert collaborators
to invent methods to safeguard and to restore environmental balance in this
ecological hot-spot.
